Josh Dunkin is an award-winning theatre artist, Storyteller, and writer who makes his home in Hendersonville, NC who hails from a long line of Scotch-Irish mountain folk who settled in East Tennessee at Jones Cove (named for a relative killed by the Cherokee) in 1790.

Josh holds a bachelor’s degree in theatre from Middle Tennessee State University and has studied at the famed Second City Training Center in Chicago. He is a founding member of The Pub Theatre Company and spent twelve years producing, writing, performing, and directing theatre and sketch comedy in Chicago. He currently serves on the Arts Council of Henderson County, hosts Murder Ballad Monday at Sanctuary Brewing Company and leads historical walking tours of Hendersonville’s Main Street.
